This is a photo mombean managed to find (unfortunately) for this week's Photo Hunt theme. Yep, silly hat time. That is me, Moe, with Tall Son taken a while back. You can see how happy I am to pose for this photo session.
The 'jokester' moved out of our home and into a home of his home!

I am Mindy an indoor cat and I am a senior grey and white bi-color tabby girl. This is my blog which I write with help from my human. In September of last year, 2017, sadly Mike crossed the Rainbow Bridge to join his brothers aka 'brofurs'....Cookie, Moe, BonBon and Skie. They will all exist in our hearts now and always. I hope you will continue to follow these blogging stories from "Team Tabby" with me and remembering those who came before.

Wordless Wednesday, Supper Edition
It's wordless Wednesday, so perhaps we'll count out our words carefully so we won't change our post to Wordy Wednesday.
The photos are from last evening.
Here's Cookie working hard, in the office, at napping!
Moe and Mike are in the kitchen, hoping supper will get started soon.
Mike: Hope it's a question of when not 'if ' supper will be started.
Moe: I'm getting tired of waiting!
Mindy: I'm watching, and if there is food - I'm there too.
I'm just not so obvious as Mike and Moe. Mike is loud, and louder and Moe is pushy and runs over and headbutts our 'beans. There is no way Mike & Moe would ever led our 'beans forget something as important as our supper!

Mancat Monday, a little Nip
Moe: My mombean saw how big our catnip plant is getting, so she harvested some of the leaves. She saw how excited I was to smell the fresh catnip on her fingers so she put some on our Ess.
Ah, such bliss!
I am simply crazy for catnip, mmmmmmmm!
I think this year's plant that she got at the market is especially powerful, ahhhh.
Excuse me while I zone out for a while.
Meanwhile you can check out the yummy fresh haddock mombean bought from our neighbour - he went fishing over the weekend.
We kitties love fish, and we're sure our beans will share some, 'cause it is good to share. Yum!

Thursday in the Garden
This will be a very short tour as it is way too hot to take an extended trip through our garden today!
These hardy blooms are brightening up the yard with their splashes of color.
I say 'hardy' blooms because we haven't had much rain in a while. We could really use a good rainfall! Soon.
To see more gardens go over to the Society of Feline Gardeners

Snoopervizin Saturday
Mindy: I has my work cut out for me today. This is because I am supervisor of our construction site. You see, I couldn't find a hard hat small enough for me to wear, therefore I get to be the boss and not actually have to get involved in construction. That's the way it should be, right?
It is an important job, too. My 'beans need me to keep them on task. This is also a hard job, they seem to spend way too much time discussing what needs to be done next.
I have the perfect vantage spot. I can see more from up here. That makes it simple for me to direct my crew to the next spot to apply the flooring.
I practice safety first, though, and when that saw gets plugged in, I am outta here. My job is done, and it's time for a well deserved snooze.
Have a happy Caterday everyone!

Stray Cat
Mindy says: More news on the black cat we have been seeing in our yard.
We were not sure if this kitty is a stray or a feral. It calls out to us, which is a good sign that it is a stray. Both our mom and our neighbour have been leaving out food and water.
On the weekend, our mom brought out food as usual, and the small black kitty walked by the food and came over and rubbed against her. Yay, this is a friendly stray, but very thin, kitty. After a while, it came up on our deck and mombean was able to pick it up and put it on her lap. We wonder how and why such a nice kitty is wandering alone, probably for quite a while judging by how underweight she is. Yes, it is female. We do, however, live in an area where there are fox, coyotes, raccoons - it is not safe to live outside for a cat.
Here is a photo of her, taken a few days ago. Did we mention, she is very sweet?
Update!!
We have some exciting news. She has gone over to our furcousins, they are so excited to have her come and stay with them....forever. We think this is pawsome and we hope that she really likes her new home.

Fine on Friday
Cookie: I is reporting today.
We wanted to post about our garden yesterday, but we couldn't get any photos. It was because it rained so hard and was not good for getting photos of it. So our mombean went out foraging in the grocery store to pick up foods instead.
Today she went out to see if she could get me some pictures to show you. The flowers got a bit mangaled from all the rain, however here are a few things in bloom - except for the Japanese Silver Fern - it doesn't bloom, but we like it. There are some wild flowers and some our mom planted. Hope these brighten your day, looking at them!
Because it is now sunny and warm - well, warm for us at 26C - your garden tour guide is going to lounge in the office chair with the fan blowing on me.....ah this is the life!
Have a great day all!

Tabby Tuesday
Mike: I am reporting today......from the comfort of my sleeping spot.
It is not a new condo, it is renewed. Meaning we are cleaning out a space upstairs and our beans brought this out and left it where we could find it. No other kitty claimed it, so I did. Comfy, just right.
Update on the little black panther that is hanging out in our backyard.
It seemed very hungry and was crying. We shared some of our crunchy food. Little kitty liked it, and then disappeared again.
We have been having several days of sun then thundershowers. Just when you think the rain won't stop, it does. Then the sun comes back. We think the little panther takes shelter underneath this old wheelbarrow.
We were all watching some bird TV out of our window this afternoon. We saw mom and dad bluejay dining on some of our birdseed - do you see their offspring in between them, loudly demanding to be fed? We found this entertaining.
On the long weekend, just past, mombean stopped to get a photo of our bay. Our beans pass this spot every time they go to town, or to get more cat food.
We are not sailor cats, but we don't mind when someone goes fishing in one of these boats and shares their catch!
