Then mom came to take a look. She says that it's the woodchuck (aka groundhog) that lives next door. Apparently there is a den in our neighbour's yard. She was a bit worried when she saw it because they like to eat green things and it might want the delicious looking garden plants.

So we watched it for a while. Mom was very happy to see that it was chowing down on the goutweed in our yard. This weed is a pest in our gardens. We heard her mumble "gobble it up, eat all you want, furball".
'Beans really are strange, aren't they?
