Bon Bon: I don't like my photo taken, but mom got this one in spite of the fact that I usually close my eyes or turn away. I hate the camera.
Mindy: I'm with you Bon Bon. That camera is annoying.
Hope the weekend will be nice. Yesterday the weather was so unpredictable and cold! Hardly any birds to watch or even that pesky squirrel!
Have a good weekend everyone!
I am Mindy an indoor cat and I am a senior grey and white bi-color tabby girl. This is my blog which I write with help from my human. In September of last year, 2017, sadly Mike crossed the Rainbow Bridge to join his brothers aka 'brofurs'....Cookie, Moe, BonBon and Skie. They will all exist in our hearts now and always. I hope you will continue to follow these blogging stories from "Team Tabby" with me and remembering those who came before.

Critters in our Yard
This squirrel, for some strange reason, actually bypassed our bird/ squirrel feeder and ran up into the oak tree.
You can see the young oak leaves starting to grow. However, the squirrel seems to be eating the flowers? Maybe someone knows if those dangling things are the blooming stage of an oak. We are only guessing.
As you can see, I am on the windowsill supervising all outdoor activity from my vantage point.

Whitester Wednesday
The other day I got some comments on the chair that I've claimed. Well, it's finished. It looks new, but it is an old chair. Mombean reupholstered it by ordering and buying fabric from tonicliving.com a place that specializes in vintage and retro inspired fabric designs. Do you agree that it looks good against my white furs?
I have other exciting news! We have a new baby in our neighbourhood, next door to us, in fact. His name is Ben and he is a baby horse. He was born this morning and in these pictures, he is about five hours old.
You can see Ben's mom, Susie, in the background. Jessica is taking him outside for the first time with help from Emily.
Proud mom with her new son.
The horse in the photo above is Ben's dad.
We seemed to be waiting a long time for Ben to arrive. The young girls you see in the picture even slept in the hayloft so they wouldn't miss his birth - guess what? They did sleep through it, ha, but woke up soon after.
My, I had lots to say today. I am usually such a quiet mancat.

Tabby Tuesday with Moe
It sure is nice outside and the temps are hot....for a change. I prefer some cooling breezes along with the sunshine though.
Mombean went outside to get photos of this rhododendron. It has been around for years 'n years. It finally bloomed. She loves the colour.
Oh, and this tasty tidbit feathered creature spends lots of time in our yard.
Mom says it's a White Throat-ed Sparrow....um, yeah, thanks for the lesson but they're all yummy ... oops,I mean...all the same to me.
Then there's this very green stuff (Solomon's Seal says mom)
These yellow things, too, which we have only because the deer don't like eating them.
Did you all enjoy Moe's pathetic garden tour?

Mancat Monday featuring Bon Bon
Mombean is recovering a chair. I wanted to sleep on it, it is so, so comfy. However mom says she still needs to work on it, so she turned it on its side. I am claiming it for ME. Therefore, I needs to stay close to it and let the other cats know that it's mine, all mine.
I hope all the mancats have their special nap spots, too!
