We almost didn't get to be in the picture.......oh no! It's our blog - see - so, when we got a chance, we edited the 'Red' Photo Hunt picture and put ourselves in it......... Ta, da!!!!

Foxy Friday

I was going to call today's post, you know, something like Formerly Feral Friday. No, I'm not doing that today. I was going through my photo files and decided to pick out something a bit different. I like to lie on my back and view the world upside down and one day when I was getting my picture taken, I got really bored....and I just had to yawn. Not the usual right side up, but upside down yawn. Here's da pic. I got mom to add a sparkle to my teef.......makes me look - foxy.

Important Decisions

We get along most of the time.....really. However, there are times when we must make important decisions. Such as which one of us is going to get dinner first. Of course mom is often slow getting things together. So while we are waiting, we have heated discussions.......



Mom says we are sometimes bad kitties........but, no, that's not the case. It's her fault for making us wait so long for dinner. Once we've got our food, we're sweet,...... no fooling.

Wednesday Watching

Look, look, everyone ......der's somwhat out on da lawn!!























Oooh, they's noisy.......I jus has ta scare dem off immediately.....mom sey ther starlings. Dunno, but they's soooooo close....if only the glass wasn't there.

2. In memories, what was the best part of your Christmases past?

We kitties get to spend more time with our beans. They take time
off and the kidbeans come home from college. We get lots of
attention...oh, and extra food, too.

3. Was Santa ever good to you? [describe how and what]

Santa brought us each a sock, and inside was all kinds of toys and
yummy treats.


4. Do you open gifts on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, or both?

We save da gifts for Christmas Day.

5. Is there something you make each and every year? [craft or

recipe]

Oh, yes, the tall sons always ask mom to make Bakewell
Tarts. Dad asks her to make Pavlova. We hopes there's gonna be
turkey.

6. What is your favorite five[5] Christmas songs/hymns?

There is a really cool Christmas song where the cats do the
singing.....and we listen to it at least five times.


7. Is there a new tradition for Christmas since your childhood
days?

Yep, for the first time, our beans bought us a fake
artifical tree and we can hardly wait to climb it.

8. Describe one of your Christmas trips. [whether it's across town or across country]

We try to avoid traveling at Christmas,
actually we try avoid traveling at all times - home is best.

9. Do you have a special Christmas outfit to wear for the day?

Not unles our beans try to make us wear a silly hat - we'll settle
for a festive bow.

10. Have YOU or any of your family members sat on Santa's lap?

Not us, but I bet our beans have!

11. What is/or will be on your Christmas tree this year?

Lots a shiny things to play with, oh, just remembered we're NOT supposed
to play with the tree stuff....humph.


12. Do you/or have you decorated your yard for Christmas?

We were watching mom a few days ago putting some red berries and green
stuff in our big planter in da front yard.

Here's da greenery out front. We told mom where in the back yard she could find the red berries (Canada Holly) and the greens ( cedar)........we left lots of berries for da birds to eat.

7 Random and/or Weird Facts About Us!

1. I was born outside and raised in a wood pile (Moe)
Me, too, since I am Moe's sisfur (Mindy)

2. There were four kittens in our litter. I was the bravest of the four of us kittens. I succeeded in getting the food lady (mom's sister) to feed us until we were tame. I was 6 months old by then. (Moe)
I am a grey and white bicolour tabby and the only girl. I was the shy one of the bunch. My nickname was "scaredy cat". I was the last to be tame and I am still very scared of strangers.

3. I am seriously interested in food..... however our daily food gets measured out and by mom's bedtime we get the last of it. If I get the chance I will eat almost anything - love toast, cottage cheese, and lunch meat even bean junk food, but they don't give that to me very often.
I am much pickier, I don't like spicy meat- only lean chicken. I do love cottage cheese though and my cat food. Both of us adore stinky goodness and Temptations.

4. My favorite toy is the "turbo scratcher" it is round with a cardboard circle in the middle. I know I am supposed to scratch on it wif my claws, but I find it more fun to rip it apart with my teef. I can destroy one of those cardboard circles in a day. the house looks so cool wif cardboard bits scattered everywhere. Mom however, is never amused - maybe that's why I don't get replacements very often.

I like toy mice and feathers and anything I can send flying over the floor. I also like to tag people as they walk by wif my paw. I sometimes tag Moe or whap him, but then the chase game is on. That's when we play 'thundering herd of elephants' and use the stairs....fun, fun, fun.

5. I don't normally sleep on our bean's beds, but when the weather gets cold and it's cool at night (they turn down the heat then), I like to.

Every night I wait for mom to get into bed then I jump up and demand ear scritchies and tummy rubs. Sometimes I get under the covers. I only do this for a short time, then I go off to sleep somewhere else.

6. Tall son named me "moe' because he liked the name.
Mom tried to find a name for me that went with "moe".....she thought of the old TV show "Mork and Mindy" so we became "Moe and Mindy". Yeah, that's one of the 'weird' facts about us.

7. When our beans have been out of the house, I am always waiting at the door when they return.
Mom is my special person.
