Today we are awaiting the arrival of Hurricane Noel (whether we like it or not). The last time a serious hurricane hit us this far north, we were offline for 3 weeks.

San Diego, California

Still on the road with the crew. Before we left for San Diego to visit DaisyMae Maus, we took a breather and took it easy for a spell.




Eric and Flynn have got on the bus now. Yahoo, more friends. Daisy says that the guy in the red suit is Elvis. Wow, I sure hope he liked our cool, double decker bus. Sammy and Miles said they actually saw him take the bus for a spin. Well of course he wanted to take it for a drive, after all, our pimped out bus has a really super souped up engine

Las Cruces, NM

We arrived in Las Cruces and Luxor was waiting up for us, however it is late. We spent a good hour finding a spot to curl up and rest a bit. That was after sorting out who got what bed, lining up to use the facilities (litterboxes) and brush out teefs etc. All important things that must be done. Lux's mom got all the things on his list so there are snacks, cozy blankets, and.....did someone order, ugh...... broccoli?










After we got our big red double decker bus parked safely for the night, Mindy noticed this man hanging around our bus. He seemed very interested in it, in an admiring kind of way. Well it IS a great rig to travel in - the best. Mindy thought this guy looked sort of familiar, but no, she can't place where she saw him last. "Does anyone know who this man is?", she wants to know.

Happy Halloween

While we are away on the road trip, we put mom in charge of passing out the treats dis evening. We usually give out at least 60 bags of treats. Here is our stash for giving out. Mom will be busy........it is going to be a lovely evening and the change from saving daylight doesn't happen until this coming Sunday.....we think that will make things busy.......we are ready

Road Trip - the Big Red Bus

Mindy blogging today. We are now traveling in a red double decker bus. We needed the extra space for all of us. In spite of this traffic, we are actually making very good time.Georgia and Tilly have some pictures of the inside of the bus, be sure and take a look!


China Cat and Willow has teleported over to join us at Daisy's. Moe got us lost in Florida. He wanted to help out, so took over the map reading to give Lucky a break. Only thing is, Moe loves his food, so he tried to read da map and eat at the same time and gotted toona juice on da map! We had trouble reading it. Oh my, was Lucky steamed at him!!

No real harm done,Dragonheart made up the time - he is used to driving the Autobahn after all. When we drove through Atlanta we stopped to pick up Captain Jack and Dante they took us to their Aunt Susan and Uncle Dave's place for a graveyard picnic - shrimp, turkey and some Halloween cookies and pumpkin burgers. The yard was full of graves, but don't worry the 'graves' aren't real.

Willow said she wants to see an alligator, but she's a bit scared. That's easy. If we drive over the Tamiami Trail you can see them from the bus window, no need to get out. They hang out in the canal alongside the highway. However, Moe will have to take over her driving while she has a look.


















The big red bus has been picking up more and more passengers for the road trip. Check out Roxy and Lucky's blog for the additions. There's still room for more. We've got word that Luxor gave his MomBean a long shopping list. Can anyone think of anything he left off the list?

Road Trip - Florida Here We Come!

It's been a whirlwind trip so far - "we've been everywhere man" - well not quite. We met up with Lucky and Roxy in New Hampster, then Georgia and Tillie joined us. Millie came along after picking up Dragonheart at the airport. All'a us landed at the Meezers in New York for breakfast. Miles and Sammy and Sammy's girfriend Abby packed their luggage in da trunk. At this point Karl from Tucson joined our road crew. Then off to pick up Parker and have some lunch.

After about six hours 'a driving wif Dragonheart starting out at the wheel, we got to Monty Q's. Miles didn't even poot once, which is good since there is a whole bunch of us in the back seat and he is in the middle and he prolly shoulda been by da window.

Next we are headed towards Florida to pick up Samantha and Tigger and Daisy. Whew! That's a lot of driving, but we're sharing it.

After stopping in Daytona to pick up Samantha and Tigger, we got as far as the city of Stuart in FL and ended up on a dead end road. I think someone spilled toona juice on that critical part of da map an it was very hard to read. Mindy got out and asked the nice police officer how to get back to the highway. With the energy we expended on be'n lost and getting anxious, we took a break and had some of the snacks Millie's mom made. Oh, and if we're running low on snacks China Cat says to swing by St. Louis as she has a large supply of Temptayshions.

Monday - on the Road

We are on a road trip to New Mexico. Why? It is because our friend Lucky is on her way to visit Luxor and he lives there. Lucky has a BIG crush on him. She wanted a few friends to accompany her on the trip. So far we have Lucky's sister, Roxy,Georgia and Tillie then Dragonheart from Germany, and Millie. We are heading, at this time, to New York to pick up the Meezers. They will have breakfast ready when we arrive. Along the way, however, we stopped at this diner to stretch our legs. They has awesome chicken burgers and fish, yum.

Moe: I love to greet my beans at the front door when they get home. I give them lots of headbutts and purrs. I like to be wherever they are.

Mindy: I love to be where dad and mom are, too. Mom is my special person and I love her to give me ear scritches and my favorite tummy rubs. That's when I purr loudest for her and I love to sit on her lap, she likes this.

We both know that mom and dad love us a lot.
