Whitester Wednesday

The other day I got some comments on the chair that I've claimed. Well, it's finished. It looks new, but it is an old chair. Mombean reupholstered it by ordering and buying fabric from a place that specializes in vintage and retro inspired fabric designs. Do you agree that it looks good against my white furs?

I have other exciting news! We have a new baby in our neighbourhood, next door to us, in fact. His name is Ben and he is a baby horse. He was born this morning and in these pictures, he is about five hours old.

You can see Ben's mom, Susie, in the background. Jessica is taking him outside for the first time with help from Emily.

Proud mom with her new son.

The horse in the photo above is Ben's dad.

We seemed to be waiting a long time for Ben to arrive. The young girls you see in the picture even slept in the hayloft so they wouldn't miss his birth - guess what? They did sleep through it, ha, but woke up soon after.

My, I had lots to say today. I am usually such a quiet mancat.

Hmm.. blogger just ate my comment? I like that they choose a pattern that works so well on your furs. That baby horse is a cutie.

You look very handsome on that chair, Bono, and should sleep on it always. We do hope no bean was hoping to use it. MOL

What a cute horsie, look at those long legs!

Purrs and hugs,
