Photo Hunt - Ruin(ed)

Photo Hunters

The Photo Hunters Scavenger Hunt was started by tnchick, and anyone can play along.

This week's theme is "ruin(ed)". We went through our photos and came up with this one, taken early October, of a busy garden spider who worked very hard to maintain her web. There was wind and rain, then part of her web got - ruined. In no time she was working hard again to fix it. If you don't mind spiders, you can click on the picture to make it bigger.

Mindy: Bono you should not be up there. Mom is not going to be happy if you ruin her beautiful bouquet.

Bono: Don't worry, Mindy, I am not going to ruin it at all. I just want to rearrange her bouquet a bit.

Moe: I'll watch for mom, but be quick, Bono!!

The following picture is not about today's theme, it is simply a nice sunset taken back in September.

Enjoy!

Furball Friday

Bono: I like my new place. I even let the beans share my bed.

Exposed! I am just a little 'nipped out in this picture.

Moe: If it can't be the real thing, then this 'nip mouse is the next best thing!

Mindy: I didn't have any 'nip at all. I am simply enjoying this spot in the sunshine. I shall bask as long as it lasts.

Want to see how mom got rid of the fallen oak leaves? She used the lawn mower, it is a mulching mower. We can't figure out why she would want to do that.

When she put the mower away, she saw this dragonfly. Now that it is November, there are not that many left because it is getting cold and there have been frosts.

A happy Friday to everyone!

Tuesday Ramblings

Today it is mild, no frost, no cold windows. We can relax, although mom said she turned the heat to 'off'. We prefer to bask in the lovely heat.

Moe: here's me - way too comfortable

Mindy: I am, well...... cute

Bono: Comfort? Love it!

Mom got these pictures a day or two ago. There is always something going on at the wharf. She watched a struggle as this large, old boat was hauled out of the water. They used a semi tractor to do it.

Getting it lined up

Success!

Now the hauling begins. Hope everyone has a successful day!

Today is voting day in the U.S.A - vote well, but vote

Cool on Monday

The past few days, our beans have to scrape the windows on the metal machines in our driveway. When we put our noses on the window, it feels cold. We do it anyway, because we have to watch the cheeky squirrel that runs around on our deck.

Bono: It is my turn to be cozy in the Mr. Noodles box.

Moe: I am cozy on the nice kitty sofa, mom made for us.

Mindy:I have the beans bed all to myself!

We hope everyone's week is off to a good start!

Easy on Sunday

Ah, Sunday, this is how I will spend the day - taking it easy.

Guess I shouldn't disturb our brofur, he look so comfortable in mom's chair.

Guess I'll go back to doing what I do best on Sunday.....that would be loafing.

Aaah, MY chair.

What's Up on Wednesday

Bono: I am liking it here in my new home.

Here I am on Tall Son's bed, what a life!

Moe: I am having a lazy time on this beautiful and warm fall day. Mom's outside doing some painting and gardening anyway, so may as well rest.

Mindy: I now have two mancats to keep in line. No problem, I am up to the task!

Hope all of you are enjoying your day, too.

Bono, Our New Mancat

This first picture introducing Bono was created using a digital artwork kit from Twisted Challenges

Since this is Mancat Monday, we would like to introduce our new mancat, Bon Bon. We are calling him "Bono". Sometimes Tall Son calls him Whitety. He is 13 years old as far as we know. His former owner has passed away so he needed a home.

At first, we were very annoyed that our beans would even think of bringing him here. So, we had a decision to make - does he stay? or does he not?

After two weeks with us - we decided - he can stay.

We have lots of space and hide-y spots for all of us. Bono is much faster at going up and down stairs now. He wasn't used to stairs. He has discovered how cool our attic is and likes to go up there when strange beans come to visit. In fact, the afternoon is siesta time anyway and we usually all go off to our favorite spots....unless something exciting is going on. Mom sometimes has trouble finding us.....cool, huh?

Bono has always been an indoor cat, so he doesn't mind being inside and looking out the windows.
