Last week, on Saturday, it was sunny and we saw the twin fawns that visit our yard.
They were standing very, very still and didn't think we saw them. We did and now you can see them too! The white spots on their coats have almost gone, in fact the spots are not visible at all in this photo.

PS: sad news - our friend Oliver (Everycat) suddenly went to the Rainbow Bridge on Friday. We send our purrs to his heartbroken family - Gerry, Mungo and their 'beans.

Oh, our mom loves the deer! We've never been quite sure why deer are known as "vishus" around the CB.
Did you guys see anything of the launch of the newly restored Bluenose II? Our mom was watching...She was on the "old" Bluenose several times, which was fun, even though it would only go out into the harbour and back, as a tourist tour. She looked a bit odd today without her masts, but the restoration looked impressive.
Rainy days are always best for napping!
Most of us snoozed today too. Julie was running around following Mom who was cleaning . Silly girl :/
We do not have any deer to look at either..dang!

Our mum says those deer look very sweet, but we aren't fooled, we know a vishus deer when we see one.
We agree with Eric and Flynn...you just can't trust vishus deers no matter how cute they may look. :)
