We are Rich, Rich!....not

Mom is helping us with our blog. She took a break to check her email. She started to giggle uncontrollably. We got curious, so she showed us this email:

Address:33 Bedford Row
London WC1R 4JH, England
ALAN ORGAN & ASSOCIATES
LONDON - UK.

Attention:

On behalf of the Trustees and Executor of the estate of Late Engr. Jurgen
Krugger. I once again try to notify you as my earlier letter was returned
undelivered. I hereby attempt to reach you again by this same email
address on the WILL. I wish to notify you that late Jurge Krugger made
you a beneficiary in his WILL. He left the sum of Thirty Million, One
Hundred Thousand Dollars (USD$30, 100.000.00) to you in the Codicil and
last testament to his WILL.

This may sound strange and unbelievable to you, but it is real and true.
Being a widely travelled man, he said he met you sometime in the past or
simply you were nominated to him by one of his numerous friends abroad who
wished you good, I am not too sure again.

We got so excited! Think of all the homeless and hungry animals we could help with that money. There'd be enough dollars to get a few truckloads of Temptations. Then mom (the voice of reason) said she gets emails like this a lot. She said they are scams. She said she never, ever replies. We are disappointed, of course.

Mindy: See the look of disappointment on my face?

Mom cheered me up, she gave me a treat.

Whose floof is this?

Moe: Did you all guess that it's mine?

Wouldn't it be nice if you really did get all that money? What cracks mom up is that people actually believe those scams. Mom just can't believe that. Especially with the lousy spelling and all. Oh well.
And yes, we knew that fluffy spot was Moe.

I also can't believe that anyone falls for those scams. I am glad that you got a treat to cheer you up. You have awesome fur, Moe.

Aww man! How can they tease you like that? Green papers are no joking matter. Well we have an award for you over on our blog, maybe that will cheer you up a bit.

Our Nana will someday win the lotto! She says she dreamed about it once so it will happen. So we don't need his $30,100,000 - we will have our Nana's eleventy billion! Right Nana?

Hmmmm...this Jurge Krugger has no doubt met a lot of cats in his life, so I think he's probably met me, too. I wonder why I didn't get this letter?
