Thankful Thursday

We got awards from our friends! We are very thankful and touched that we were given these awards. We are also thankful to have good friends in the Blogosphere, so we have much to be thankful for this Thursday.

We put our post up early because mom is busy Thursday taking her brother for surgery on his hand something called 'carpal tunnel'......does this affect cats, we hope not.

Words for Wednesday

Mom bean was busy the past two days - she calls it 'catching up'. We are wondering what she is trying to catch. Yo, mom, can we help? Mom bean's brother is coming today and staying overnight, so mom was changing one of da beds this morning.

I love when mom changes da sheets 'n stuff 'cause on da bed is my favorite place for tummy rubs, I can't get enough of them. So I plunk myself square in the middle of whatever bed she is changing and she has to give me those tummy rubs 'cause I am NOT moving until I gets them, ha, ha........Mindy (PS - I also wanted my picture taken, so mom did a good job with getting a picture and at the same time giving me my lovely rubs)

Moe here.......well, I had a busy morning, too. Now that our beans are back, I can reduce the number of patrols around the house. I was so busy helping Tall Son watching out for introoders and making sure everything was as it should be, that I didn't have time for a bath, yech. So I am making sure a do a thorough job.




Ooops, alway wash behind yer ears.


I just told mom we have some awards, so now she has to help us wif our blog, we'll even skip one or our snacks so's she can help us.

Tabby Tuesday

We are so happy our beans are back. We missed our routine and didn't bother Tall Son as much as we would bother mom for snacks! We hope over the next day or two to do some visiting.

Offline for a Bit

Our beans are going away again. A family member has died after a short illness. It is dad bean's brother-in-law. We will be back blogging as soon as we can get our beans to assist us when they gets back.

Before we go, we want to show you a couple of pictures of the cat-next-door. Angel really dislikes winter so he stays inside a lot and instead loves to curl up on his beans' guest bed.....it is lovely and comfortable and just right for a fifteen year old mancat. Mom couldn't resist these pictures and she begged us to allow her to share them with everyone. We agreed as long as this does NOT become a habit. We know you all would really like to hear all about US.

Do ya wanna know what really 'lights my fire'??



It's dis very saucy red squirrel. It had the nerve to actually come up to da window and look in at me. That tasty morsel has more nerve than sense......although it still didn't work out in MY favour.




If there were not two panes of glass between us.....just think of it!! Mom was wondering why my tail was thumping the wall so hard.



If it ever finds a way inside, or if I gets out, den da chase will be on!!

Our Beans were Away

It's me - Mindy - and I'm doing the blog today. Our beans went away for da weekend. It was dad bean's birthday.



They went to stay at a lodge. There were lots of people there and lots of bunnies. The bunnies live around the lodge and guests at the lodge can get small bags of complimentary rabbit pellets to feed all of them.




They are very well fed!

This picture of the ocean waves was taken in front of the lodge. It was very cold there on the weekend.



This is a picture of a tower at the lodge which was built a long time ago. It has been updated on the inside and is very comfortable. Mom likes to take pictures of towers I think.



Here is another tower picture. Mom says it's a lighthouse and has a light at the very top. It is not far from where they stayed.



Mom had to take a picture of a fire hydrant painted to look like a guardsman. Beans are very funny sometimes! She found it in a nearby town.



We were very happy when our people got home from wandering around the countryside. Happy Birthday dad bean, hope you had fun, too.

Thankful Thursday

We're thankful we are not living outside any more. We have a cozy home. Outside it is stormy. First it snowed and then came wind and rain.

The wind is noisy and there is lots of rain now. The snow is wet and heavy and not pretty anymore. Here is picture before the rain.

Even though I really like my naps, I must keep watch. Both inside and especially outside in da yard. Today I watched, and it was a good thing that I was. Can you see me here? I am not happy at all.


















Grrrrr, I see the invader, checking out MY yard. That will not do at all.
