In the Garden on Thursday

We have a garden, so we thought we would participate in the Society of Feline Gardeners with Jonesie and Figaro

Mike here, and I am showing you around our Garden today.

This flowering bush is 'climbing honeysuckle'. It does need a fence to climb on, a sturdy fence preferrably. Actually there are two bushes here - one is rosey pink and the other orangey pink. I can't believe I am saying this; it's as if I know what I am talking about!!

The hummingbirds really like this bush, here is a close-up of the flowers.

Next up is one of our yummy-looking critters. It takes birdseed and hides it in several of its dens.

This is another visitor to our garden. I am thinking it is called Hummingbird Moth. Anyone know for sure?

Okay, moving along. This is our bird bath and some hostas.

Nearby is a Japanese Fern.

You are probably wondering by now, how I know so much about gardening. It is all written out for me. I was bribed asked if I would do this while my sisfur and brofur went off to Bora Bora.

I have one more critter picture to show you, and it's a lovely delicious-looking robin.

That's all for this week, the end, I quit! I am so exhausted.....I need a nap. Please have some nip-ade, and find your own way out.

Cheers, Mike

Hi Mike! Your garden is lovely...and we especially like that chippie (chipmunk). We'd love to "talk" to him or her! And the robin too!

Thanks for the great tour and yep, we'll find our way out--we're teleporting back to Bora Bora now!

Wow, Mike! Your garden is very nice!! And yes, we think that is a hummingbird moth. Mom saw one last year and she didn't know what it was so she googled it and sure enough...it was a hummingbird moth!

Mike your garden is splendid. We are amazed by your Hostas because no slugs have eaten them. We have the same Japanese fern and don't know its name. We'd love to have some chipmunks to hunt, er, oops, er, we mean play with.

What a nice tour of your garden. I love garden tours 'cause I can imagine myself there. Julie says..I love the honeysuckle. It must smell heavenly, too! And, the chipmunk dens...oh my..we're having a time with holes around the place here. They're taking over!

Have a great weekend, Mike. Enjoy the peace and quiet while everyone's gone!
