I am Mindy an indoor cat and I am a senior grey and white bi-color tabby girl. This is my blog which I write with help from my human. In September of last year, 2017, sadly Mike crossed the Rainbow Bridge to join his brothers aka 'brofurs'....Cookie, Moe, BonBon and Skie. They will all exist in our hearts now and always. I hope you will continue to follow these blogging stories from "Team Tabby" with me and remembering those who came before.

Photo Hunt - Memorial
The Photo Hunters Scavenger Hunt was started by tnchick, and anyone can play along.
For our 'memorial' photo this week, we want to show you this one, taken by our mombean a couple of weeks ago:
This sculpture was carved as a memorial to the courage of the fishermen living in Peggy's Cove, Nova Scotia. It took William deGarthe, the artist and sculptor who lived in the cove, ten years to complete. This memorial covers a 30-meter granite outcrop. Depicted are St. Michael, guardian angle of fishermen; several fishermen, their wives and children. The information is quoted from this site:
Destination Nova Scotia.
Mindy: That is a lot of work but the results are worth it. Mom says he even carved his pet seagull "Joe", into the sculpture, how nice.
Moe: I am glad I did not have to pose like "Joe the seagull", did. Ten years is a long time to complete the sculpture.
Bono:
Here I am posing with my foster brofur "Mike". Mom says he is very loud and talks back at her. He's a good snooze buddy though.

That's quite a memorial!
And it's great you and Mike are getting along well!
Mike is doing a great job of blending with the furniture. I like doing that on our black chairs.
That's a very nice sculpture!
And Mike looks like a great guy!
That's a really intricate and cool sculpture. I guess he carved it from the rock, right where it stands? He got to spend a lot of nice outdoor time then!
What an interesting sculpture! We love the pictures of you. Mike looks like a great snooze buddy.
