Ugh, she caught me chewing da leafs, even if dey are prickly roses. We haven't had fresh flowers in da house in ages. I couldn't resist. I don't understand mombean just looking at dose flowers and not trying dem out.

Mombean was setting up her sewing machine.



This type of activity requires help from me. I needed to supervise hemming the blue jeans. Without my help and added furs and of course, precise positioning, the task would not have been completed so expertly. I am glad I got there in time to help and guide mombean.

Hope everyone is having a good Wednesday or at least a restful one.

Feels Like Summer

Mindy - We've had awesome weather because it still feels like summer. On Wednesday night we did get a hard frost, but the days are still nice and warm. I like to lie on the windowsill and soak up those sun rays.


Cookie - I get to go outside with mombean while she gets things done outside. I am the only cat in the household that gets outside. See my smug face?


Bon Bon, Mike and Moe - we are three mancats that like to soak up some of that warm Autumn sunshine. These south facing windows are just perfect, plus we get to watch what is happening out in the street. Not much going on today, only people walking their doggies.


Moe - I know the package says 'tofu', but it smells really, really tasty. I think sonbean added something extra. I gotta try it.


Ptooey!! I should know better, duh.

Someone, quick, I need a drink of water immediately!

Why We Do Not Have a Garden

This is the reason!!!!!


No sneaking around, it's 2:30 pm and the buck doesn't care that we are in the window watching. He wasn't finished choosing the tastiest bushes and plants we have. Last winter the deer discovered and ate our yew bushes. We wonder if there is anything they don't like. Oh, and the raccoon likes to dig up the grass looking for grubs to eat, but they don't bother to replace the sods they turf up.

Mindy: do you think if I 'meow' really loud, it might scare the deer?


Sonbean and Mike: that won't work, Mindy. You will have to come up with another plan


Moe: See this paw? I can put it into action, maybe that will work


BonBon: Take my advice, Moe. Don't bother, because in case you haven't noticed, deer are very, very BIG.


Cookie: Normally, I would be scratching to get outside, but I think I will wait until it leaves.

Moe says: This pesky guy has been annoying me for days. I'm just doing my job, keeping our home free of intruders. So, he's NOT getting in here! No matter how hard he tries - and he tries very hard. He jumps at the window all the time and chatters at me at the top of his voice. How rude.



Note from mombean: Yes, there is glass between them, don't know for how long though.

Is it Still Monday?

Um, think so. We are late, again. Of course, it's never our fault.

Mindy: Now if he would just walk by me one more time, I'm ready, and I'll whap him good this time.



Moe: Don't bother me, I'm unavailable, except in extreme emergencies. (hung over, from helping Mickey celebrate his birthday)


Bon Bon: This doesn't look very comfortable, but really, it is!


Mike: Even though I am usually Mr. Mouth, I have NO comment to make.
