Photo Hunt - Narrow

Photo Hunters

Both of us looked around for something - anything - that represents this week's Photo Hunters theme which is 'narrow'.

Then it occurred to me that I am on a narrow shelf. I mean those books take up most of the shelf, so what is left is 'very narrow'.

When I saw Moe's 'narrow' themed picture, I got a similar idea. I got mom to take a picture of me sitting on the very top of the back of the sofa. It is a very narrow part of our sofa, but very comfy!

Hiya, I am here in da upstairs window. Mom even opened it a bit, cause it is nice today. I can see lots more from up here too. Da sun is nice on my furs.

I gets the downstairs all to myself......ahhhh, life is good and peaceful (wink).

Sunday - Big Chill

We are still trying to stay warm, hope the cold snap is over soon. I am not going to look at the camera. Ignore, ignore.

If I do this, maybe mom will go away and I can have a peaceful nap.

oh, I think I see a treat. Maybe a Temptations treat that Moe did not find....it's mine, it's mine!!

Photo Hunt - old fashioned

Photo Hunters

We can think of something that fits the theme for 'old-fashioned'. It is a rose and this is a picture of it in our garden. It is a very old variety, so some might call it an old fashioned rose. Modern roses don't tend to have as many petals as this gallica type, but it far surpasses newer cultivars with its lovely fragrance. Here is a description Charles de Mills Rose. We are happy to have it in our garden.

I can hardly wait until it is time for the garden to come back to life, and for the longer sunny days to warm my furs....(it is so cold here!)

I am getting a visit from baby bean. I am not used to small people, so I am keeping a careful watch in case I has to run away fast!

Friday thank goodness

It's a busy day for mom, so we are going amuse ourselves with trying out nap places and guarding the premises.

(Mindy says)... Moe already scared off the cat next door, we heard him at the dining room window making all kinds of yowling and snorting noises.

What We See Thru Our Window

Yesterday was nice. It was above freezing and the sun came out - eventually.

We see dis tasty furry cute squirrel. It likes the sunflower seeds that mom puts out.

I'm going to point out that little yummy morsel chickadee that was hungry enough that it came close for us to get a picture.

One more picture of a bird. They seem quite unafraid of the camera. They are very pretty - and hungry.

Well, maybe 'this' winter day wasn't so bad. You know, though, it's good to be inside where it's warm and we have a cozy place to watch. We're still protecting our yard against da real introoders.

Tabby Tuesday

This looks something like a mug shot. Actually this is the look I was giving mom last night when she was busy. I was looking for a few crunchies to hold me over until my bedtime snack.

Do ya think I can stare real good? There are sound effects to go along wif da stare.

Ha, I know how to get the snack. All Moe had to do was look cute. I can do cute.

Here's where we spent last evening, we each have our own windowsill.

There is a heater below the windowsills. It was very, very cold last night. We think maybe Jack Frost paid us a visit. Jack put this stuff on our laundry room window.

It is hard to see the outdoors thru dis window......haf to go back to the living room and find a warm and comfortable spot.
