The rules of the game get posted at the beginning. Each
player answers the questions about themselves. At the end

you know when you have posted your answer.

1. What were we doing 10 years ago?

That's too far back for us. We can only remember back
about seven years. This coming June 1st - we were born
7 years ago, outside in a woodpile. Mama cat took care of us until we
were 12 weeks old and then she got killed by a car. Then
a really nice bean took care of us until we got our
forever homes.



2. Five things on our to-do list today.

Wake up our beans anywhere from between 4:30 am to 5:30 am.
After breakfast, lie on the beans' bed and get scritches, but
only if we let da beans sleep in 'til 6:30 am.
Next patrol the premises, checking out da windows, for
suspicious activity; oh yeah, and patrol da kitchen
regularly too. Leave time for some quality naps, this is
important when we have such busy lives. Keep constant
check on the water dish, food dish and litter boxes. Know
where your beans are at all times.

3. Three snacks we enjoy.

Temptations and stinky goodness
are tops of the list. We also enjoy cottage cheese,
regular hard cheese and anyfing wif butter on it.


4. Things we would do if we were billionaires.

We'd help out our beans and do something for homeless animals so
they has safety, food and shelter.


5. Three of our bad habits.

Bugging our beans for tidbits right after we've already
had a snack. Standing in front of the computer monitor
when we want attention. Waking our beans too early. Those
things aren't TOO bad are they?? But oh, we just
remembers, der is that old lazyboy chair we likes to scratch
on.............but honestly, it's the only furniture we love
to scratch on, we're good cats - really. Okay, okay,
there's a certain spot on da carpet that somehow get scratched, but our beans are
planning on getting rid of the carpet anyway, hee, hee.



6. Five places we have lived.

Well, dat woodpile. Then in a basement, a warm dry
basement, until we gots our first needles etc. Den we came
to our beans home, which is now OUR home. If we move
again, we'll take da beans wif us.



7. Five jobs we have had.

House inspector, rodent patrol, fly catcher, spider
whapper and being as furry cute as possible (it's a job,
and the easiest!)

Weekend Cat Blogging - numero uno

We wanted to participate in WCB today, the first for us. Our beans owe us after all. ..... big time! They were gone almost all day!! Son bean needed to get to his dental appointment. Our beans then had to go to the airport and pick up some relatives and take them home. They said they 'tried' to be home as soon as possible. We did gets a snack soon as they got home tho.


Moe: I am rubbing my face on mom bean's socks. I was so happy they got home in time for supper.



















.......Mindy: and I am rewarding our beans (finally some attention) by leaving lots, 'n lots of my furs on dis quilt.

Saturday Visitors

Last night we looked out our window into the backyard. Way out towards the treeline where there are tall weeds, we saw these two wandering around.
















We got mom to bring the camera to the window. She used the zoom feature to bring them close for you to see.


















Ducks! They were having a great time. Mom puts out cracked corn around the bird feeder. They liked that.


Moe: Here I am keeping watch. Today it is going to be "weather for ducks" although the rain hasn't started yet. I like lying here in this spot. Did you know the heating pipes are right under this windowsill. It is so warm and I can watch in comfort.......I love it. We really don't need the heat much anymore, but when it is damp it is also a bit cool. It is 'my' spot.


















I am waiting to get my tummy rub. I like to have lots and lots of tummy rubs.










We both hope efurryone is having a good Saturday.

Thursday Thirteen

Our Thursday Thirteen:

Moe: This morning I tried to wake mom at 4:30 am o'clock, I got sent out of da room!

Mindy: I have a special bed in da attic by the window. Yesterday, I found Moe sleeping in there! He better not make this a habit.

Both: Mom was busy today in the attic we call the loft. We don't get to go in there much, so it's a real treat for us. We don't want to come out, so mom has to bribe us wif treats.

Moe: Yesterday, I took my nap on top of the warm dryer. You can see a picture of me covered in dryer fluff.

Mindy: Mom was changing the beds, that is one of my favorite times. I like to get right in the middle of the bed so I can beg mom for belly rubs. I always do this, hee, hee

Moe: I looked in the cupboard yesterday for those treats. They weren't there! I'll have to find the new hiding place.

Mindy: Sometimes I tag our beans' socks when they walk by, it's lots of fun and I can look so innocent.

Moe: Sometimes, she tags me. I don't think that is fun at all!

Both: There is a can of stinky goodness opened and in the fridge. We can hardly wait to finish it.

Mindy: There was a knock on our front door yesterday, that is my signal to take cover. I do not like anyone strange coming to our door.

Moe: I usually run away at first, too. Curiosity usually gets the better of me though, and I come out and walk around the table legs and such, but from a safe distance.

Mindy: I am a sweet girl kitty.

Moe: I am a mancat.



















One more thing, we want to concatulate son bean. He graduated university on Monday, May 12.









And another thing, he likes us - we like him! (He is kneeling on the far right)

Saturday - Mayflowers

Our mom was not feeling her best all week. She has pneumonia, so we decided to stay close to her and help her get better. We got the son beans to pick these flowers and we gave them to her.

Thursday - Angel (the cat next door)

We thought you wood like to see a photo of Angel. This is Angel on our deck (the nerve). This is the cat that 'knots our line'........ well Moe's line at least. Mindy is merely curious. Now that the good weather is here, Angel comes for daily - did you notice 'daily'? - visits. He looks in our window!! Sometimes more than once a day. He thinks our yard is his!! Mom really likes Angel, she goes to his house and gives him scritches. He is one spoiled cat. His beans give hims lobster and haddock to eat. Mom thinks he is about 15 yrs. or maybe 17.


















It's a nice morning today, so we will expect a visit from Angel.

This week it has been crazy busy in our yard. It must be da warmer weather. I sees many introoder cats out there. It keeps me so busy running from window to....
