We thought we would participate in Photo Hunt this week. This week's theme is 'high'. This photo was taken in the middle of February. This boat is "high 'n dry". Not sure why though, but probably it needed some work.

Oh no, here comes mom wif da camera. I think I will close my eyes and pretend I am asleep and maybe she will go away and get pictures of my sisfur.

Guess that didn't work! She gots a picture of me wif a small 'bean. Da small 'bean doesn't live here, but when he feeds me treats, he can come anytime.

Mindy: Moe you are much braver than I. I am shy with small 'beans and big 'beans, too.

I will watch from a safe distance.

We are both waiting for spring to arrive. Yes, it's "officially" spring, but looks what happened to our yard on Friday. Yep, it (whispering)s-n-o-w-e-d. We don't want to say the word SNOW! out loud. Oops we yelled it!!....hee, hee mom doesn't want to hear that word anymore. She says she's tired of seeing it.
Hi furcousins!! That boat really is HIGH and dry!!
ReplyDeleteI like anybean that will feed me too :) Mindy is sitting up HIGH out of the way!!
Mom is not happy about the snow either. She saw some tiny , yellow, flowers(Colt's foot) yesterday that the snow has covered :(
That means my grass is covered too :(!!!!!!
Purrs Mickey
Hi Mickey, our mom says the Colt's foot is also her first sign that spring is here. Funny how the small yellow flowers appear first, then those big leaves follow later.
ReplyDeleteHope the grass won't be covered long.
Mindy & Moe
Hmm, we wonder why that boat is landlocked? We hope it warms up really soon in your neck of the woods!
ReplyDeleteWe are also shy around beans (we haven't met any small beans yet), Mindy. Most of our mom and dad's family members and friends are allergic to us. Hmph, imagine that! So we hardly get any bean visitors.
Well the boat is definitely too high for you and Mindy to jump onto.. haha :)
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I do hope that spring will arrive soon. You two should be looking forward to rolling on the grass right? :)
p/s: I have you linked up now. Thanks for your get well message:)
I love the 'high' & dry. I used literary license too. http://www.3sidesofcrazy.com/2008/03/photo-hunt-high-with-literary-license.html
ReplyDeleteThat is a great example for high! Yikes on the snow! We hope it melts soon.
ReplyDeleteThat is a neat boat!
ReplyDeleteWow, that is a lot of snow!
That ship is high and dry! Sorry about the ::snow::
ReplyDeleteHi Moe and Mindy! We love your HIGH and dry picture of the boat and the HIGH amounts of snow you are getting! We will send some warm weather your way it's suppose to be in the low 80's today! Have a wonderful weekend.
ReplyDeleteYour FL furiends,
I don't blame your Mom at all. This is too late to be getting any more *^%$)@#& snow!
ReplyDeleteGood and unusual shot - don't often see a boat as high and dry as that.
ReplyDeleteYou are a pair of good-looking cats. Thanks for visiting me.
I too am waiting for spring. If the snow keeps up like that when it melts, that boat will not be very high and dry will it?
ReplyDeleteMoe, I like how some of your whiskers are black and some of them are white!
ReplyDeleteYeah that boat sure is high and dry.
ReplyDeletePuff and pumpkin say hi nice to meet you our mom has a blog as well where every now and again she talks about us. I puff dont like when mom takes pictures of me Pumpkin on the other hand is a big "Ham"
