First of all, we feel it is important to keep Dorothy, who is very ill, in our thoughts and prayers. Dorothy is Gretchen's mom bean. We hope she gets well soon.
Every morning we have an important job. It's our job to wake the food lady a.k.a. 'mom' in time for our breakfast. It wouldn't do at all if she forgot, so we always make sure she remembers. Also, it's important to remind her about lunch, supper and snacks. However, she is very stingy though; she measures out our food - we think she should just leave the cover off of the container, then we could feed ourselves and not have to bother her.
Sounds like mom is taking good care of you!

I agree that it is very important to keep Dorothy in our thoughts and prayers. Nothing is more important for a kitty than getting the beans up in the morning. They would sleep all day if you didn't help them get up.

ReplyDeleteJust remember not to get so eager to perform your important job that you wake Mom up too early. Moms need their sleep as well, and kitties doing important jobs well before wake-up time might find themselves--dare I say it--in the doghouse. Be patient.
ReplyDeleteWhen I send my Bean off to get fixed, she buy a "weekend feeder" which holds 3 lbs of dry food for me. So my breakfast and lunch and snacks is always available for when I want to eat. I only have to bother her for dinner when I get stinky goodness. And when I want treats.
ReplyDeleteWhile I do not try to eat all the crunch food in one sitting, it would not be good for me to have treats all the time because I WOULD eat all of those in one sitting if I could.
