Introoder!

We checked our windows as usual looking for introoders in our backyard. Found one. TallSon told us that it looks like an over-sized gerbil.

Then mom came to take a look. She says that it's the woodchuck (aka groundhog) that lives next door. Apparently there is a den in our neighbour's yard. She was a bit worried when she saw it because they like to eat green things and it might want the delicious looking garden plants.

So we watched it for a while. Mom was very happy to see that it was chowing down on the goutweed in our yard. This weed is a pest in our gardens. We heard her mumble "gobble it up, eat all you want, furball".

'Beans really are strange, aren't they?

I never saw a woodchuck before, either! He seems very big. But he does not look mean.

Wow, that's amazing. Glad he is eating the weeds. Hope they don't make him sick. lol

Wow, he looks strange. We don't have anything like that in our garden. Must be fun to watch. Good thing he's eating the weeds.

I think groundhogs are very cute! Sunny's Daddy doesn't. Especially when they want to get under his shed or are burrowing tunnels in the yard :/

Mum says the same things to our bunnies, eat the weeds, leave the flowers.

Yep, beans are strange! We're glad the intruder gobbled up the green stuff your mom doesn't want.
