Photo Hunt - High

Photo Hunters

We thought we would participate in Photo Hunt this week. This week's theme is 'high'. This photo was taken in the middle of February. This boat is "high 'n dry". Not sure why though, but probably it needed some work.

Oh no, here comes mom wif da camera. I think I will close my eyes and pretend I am asleep and maybe she will go away and get pictures of my sisfur.

Guess that didn't work! She gots a picture of me wif a small 'bean. Da small 'bean doesn't live here, but when he feeds me treats, he can come anytime.

Mindy: Moe you are much braver than I. I am shy with small 'beans and big 'beans, too.

I will watch from a safe distance.

We are both waiting for spring to arrive. Yes, it's "officially" spring, but looks what happened to our yard on Friday. Yep, it (whispering)s-n-o-w-e-d. We don't want to say the word SNOW! out loud. Oops we yelled it!!....hee, hee mom doesn't want to hear that word anymore. She says she's tired of seeing it.

Make a Wish Meme

Mickey tagged us for Linda's Make A Wish Meme.

The Rules

1. Think about what it is that you want more than anything, what your heart's desire and fondest wish is, and what it is that you would wish for if you were to see the above wishing star flame across the night sky.

2. Right click and SAVE the blank graphic below.

3. Use a graphics program of your choice and place your wish on this picture:

4. Post the Make A Wish Meme and your wishing star on your blog along with these rules.

5. Tag as many people as you like so that there can be wishing stars all across the Blogosphere and ask them to please link back to Linda so that we can see what wishes others have made and share those wishes with others.

Wednesday - for Gingers and Whitsters

Moe: I's looking out da window, as you can see. Mom just fed the birds cause it's going to snow by lunchtime - guess what it must be lunchtime - I sees da flurries! I am good at keeping track of what goes on in our yard. The sun is trying to shine thru the snowflakes - cool! Oh no, I think I hears mom groaning, she doesn't seem to think this is cool at all.

Moe: Poor mom, I think I hears her say she is tired of winter. Okay, da flurries are here, can we have lunch now - I mean it's close enough, right?

Mindy: I was watching for da squirrel. Where is it?

I's feeling better today. Those shots da v-e-t gave me made me lose my appetite last night, even stinky goodness couldn't tempt me - I just wanted to sleep. Our beans were told this might happen. This morning I was hungry for breakfast though. If I look really cute, maybe I will get some cottage cheese. Yep, that will be my plan for today.

Moe: You know Mindy, it's good to have plans, now let's see if we can put da plans into action.

Tabby Tuesday - Vet Visit

We're back. The computer we use for our blog, got taken over by dadbean. It has a DVD drive so he decided to help someone by backing up the things on her computer. The computer seemed to eat a lot of shiny disks and then spit them out - we would probably spit them out too.

Yesterday we got taken to the v-e-t. Check up time, they call it. Mom said I was very good and cooperative. Did you know da vet has treats? I got a pill and two - count 'em - needles in my butt. I was brave, a real mancat, ha. It was really annoying though. Da vet looked at my teefs, too. I gots weighed and I am 11.7 pounds.......I have been eating some of Mindy's food, I can't help myself. That means I gained a bit. I think I wear it well, ha ha.

I got to go too. I really hate going and our beans worried that I would not cooperate at all. They had lots of trouble getting me into the carrier. I can have some attitude when I want to show it! However, I really liked the vet, she was nice. I even purred when she was trying to hear my heart. The vet says I have developed a slight heart murmur. Now I has to have low dose aspirin twice a week to keep me healthy. I also got a pill and two needles in my butt too. I was just as brave as Moe. I even went with the vet out to the big (scary) room to get weighed. I weigh 8.8 lbs. The vet put lots of treats in my carrier. I was sure glad to get home. I had to go to my special place to think things over, but that didn't take long. Home is best though.
